II don't love Facebook, but I need it. For one, it keeps me in touch with groups of friends in several different cities. I also use it as a promotional tool, since a number of my clients are also on my friends list. And as an advertising professional, I have to keep up with the social networking venues. They've become important venues for marketing efforts.

Heh!
I don't exist on Facebook, and I've never have.

Counterpoint:

I *do* exist there, and I love it. So there. :-)

Having gone to an International school the last two years of high school, I've got friends scattered across the globe. It's great to stay in touch with them without having to throw together another "hey, it's been a long time, how are you doing?" email or letter.
