That's a great fantasy ... but what do you do about the portions of the film that don't get exposed to light (the shadows)? Sooner or later these portions will be exposed to light ... unless you keep the film in the dark.
Of course, Polaroid makes film that does not require a darkroom to develop. They even have an instant peel apart film that produces a negative.
