Wouldn't a B&W oriented CCD and a digital Pentax body do the trick?
Seems like digital is the direction we are headed.  I seriously doubt
that any of the big film makers are going to invest much more R&D into
film technologies.  Perhaps that is why you called it a fantasy? :)
