Another day older and deeper in debt . . .
I use PSE 7. I has CS3, but it just had too many options for my needs. -----Original Message----- From: pdml-boun...@pdml.net [mailto:pdml-boun...@pdml.net] On Behalf Of John Francis Sent: Thursday, September 03, 2009 1:46 AM To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Subject: Re: What does Photoshop CS4 get me that Elements doesn't? So far I've only played with it a little bit, but the first thing to strike me was just how much more control there was in ACR compared to the rudimentary implementations in PSE3 or Lightroom V1. It's going to take me a little while to learn how to use all the new features. Then I'm going to have to go back and reconvert some old images ... I assume that I'll get at least as much control in Lightroom V2; that's going to get installed on the new machine, too. But that will almost certainly have to wait until I get back from the UK. There are a lot of other new-to-me things in PSE7, so I've got more than enough learning to do before I even think about Lightroom. But at least I've got Scott Kelby's book to help me educate myself. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
