<grumble, grumble> Was out on a camping trip this weekend in the red clay dust of Northern California. K200D + FA 24-90 were innocently sitting on a picnic table with the shoulder strap dangling over the edge. While sitting down, foot catches strap and sends camera crashing lens first into the red clay. After some astonished staring, I picked up the camera - covered in red dust. After a wipe off with damp towel, all seems to be in working order. However, there is now red clay embedded in the nylon strap and the notches on the program dial on the left. Plus scratches galore on my rear LCD!!! <grrr>
Lesson learned - don't leave pot handles or camera straps dangling over the edge. - Pat -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
