gang, I played with the shadow compensation feature in the K-7 this week-end, to see how much it actually compressed the histogram. It looked good on the camera screen, and the amount of detail lifted out of the mirk was quite significant, using the Pentax/Silkypix software.
With LightRoom there was virtually no difference at all, between turning it to max and turning it off. I shoot DNG. Anyone else had similar experience?
