They put men behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 and then let them drive a 16-year-old Toyota Camry and then tested their hormone levels. After a spin in a sports car, testosterone levels increased significantly. But after driving the family car, hormone levels stayed the same or even dropped. Scientists think this could explain why some men buy a sports car to help them through their mid-life crisis.
