I'd like to know the secret of trading the same lens twice...

As far as kit lenses, go the Pentax 18-55 is as good as it gets, so
between that and the Sigma, I'd stick with the Pentax.
Yeah, I used to have an FA 28-90. It was not bad, but it was not
something to rave about either. I later traded it for an FA 28-105
then an FA 24-90.

Has anyone used both the Sigma and the Pentax 18-55mm? I shot a bunch of
interiors with the Pentax awhile back and didn't look at them until now. I
shouldn't be surprised at the barrel distortion at 18mm but it's worse than
I expected. Previously almost everything was shot outdoors where it's not as
noticeable. I know; kit lenses aren't anything worth writing home about. I
wonder if the Sigma is any better. I have an opportunity to get one at a
very reasonable price.
Anyone here using the Pentax-FA 28-90mm? I'm quite underwhelmed with mine
but fortunately paid very little for it.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or
drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn
fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
