Hi, I have been offered the A 2/28mm Pentax for what is not a bargain price but still a good price. Please, has anybody on the list experience with it? I need such a wideangle more than a body, so it will take precedence over my manual K/LX body purchase :(
How does the A compare to F/A/FA 1.4/50 at near wide open apertures (where such lens is used most)? At big prints, A4 (8x10") or similar or bigger please... I own the F 1.4/50 but think about selling it (Yes! selling a 50mm prime... heresy <g>) and someday getting a cheap 1.7 50mm just for complementing the 28/2. Especially to Yoshihiko, who wrote on the LensComments site that the K is better than M, but on his own lens testing site the M (who I believe to be same as A) version scores better in the center and slightly better in the corners: why do you think that the M is worse than the K, when the from your test it seems the M is better? Is the K better at close distances, or why? Thanks a lot! Thanks to all! Good light, Frantisek Vlcek - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
