I'll second that. I recently got a Mat LM - meter's dead, but it's non-coupled anyway, so I use a handheld. I believe that it has the same lens as your 124G: 4 element Yashinon 3.5 80mm with a Copal shutter.
Boy, those big negs blow up nice - even using TriX. The lack of interchangeable lenses is a drawback - there are auxilliary lenses available, but they aren't worth it - apparently real slow, and not at all sharp. It's a very slow camera to use compared to a 35mm, but within its constraints it's a lovely camera. One of these days I'll get enabled with a 645 or 67, but until then, I'm having fun with my Mat. I got my Mat for under $50US, and it'll be a while until I can get further "MF enabled". Hope you enjoy yours (and the 635) too. regards, frank Len Paris wrote: > Bill, > > The 124G is a very good camera.
