My experience is a bit different. The smoothness of tonality of
any MF negative ensures a superior picture. I wouldn't be
looking for a Diana to outperform 35mm, but any decent TLR like
the YashicaMat will give a better image than any 35mm, within
the constraints of the non interchangeable lens.
