To me they appear incomplete.
For one, I wish I had a polarizer for the sky.
I tried to tweak them a bit today, but I couldn't come up
with what can be done to make them "playing".
Your suggestions are solicited.

They light seems too flat to me - maybe if the picture had been taken
shortly after sunrise. Compositionally it falls between two stools - the
point composition of the tree is fighting the emphasis given to the curve
of
the hills by the windmills.
