The second.

You know, building shots  can be rather boring, just by their nature. That 
is why I think taking effective  building shots is an art form all by 
itself, just like street photograph and  landscape photography are.

But normally buildings can be rather boring,  and there is not much one can 
do about it. When they are part of a larger theme,  that helps.
