I  think that works.

I did find the power line distracting, as I saw it as a "seam" between  two 
sections of the picture. Had to come back to read your description to find  
out it wasn't. I'd probably clone it out -- while still leaving the coil on 
the  ground (unless you want to make a lot of work for yourself :-)).

I like  it. Imagine how neat it looked when it wasn't ruins. We always 
think we're the  height of civilization, while totally ignoring pretty 
extensive 
civilizations  that have gone before us.
