About three years ago someone on PDML mentioned off-hand that he owned 18 lenses. "18 lenses!" I gasped. "Who needs 18 lenses?"
Well, I'm whittling down my lens collection from...18! I can't even claim "But this one came with the camera"' I bought each one outright. I'm selling off about half of them. But when I factor in recent and forthcoming purchases, I'll still end up with more lenses than I think is defensible: 13, all primes, from 8mm through 500mm. (8 and 16 fisheyes, 20, 28, 35, 50, 105, two 135s, two 200s, 400, and 500). 1. How many 35mm Pentax-compatible lenses do you own? Include screwmount and K mount. 2. How many primes? 3. How many zooms? 4. What's the greatest number of lenses any one focal length (or focal-length class, such as 15 and 17mm, 28 and 30, 50 and 55, 77 and 85mm, 100 and 105mm, 120 and 135, 135 and 150, 180 and 200). Don't include effective focal lengths via teleconverters. 5. If your partner had her/his way, how many lenses would you have left? (in my case: zero) [EMAIL PROTECTED] -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
