Shel:

This supports my contention, made in an earlier post in this thread,
that, as the number of lenses increases, we tend to forget just how
many we have - <g>. You'll discover a couple of additional lenses,
too, Shel, before the week is out... ;-)

Also, your cataloging of your lenses parallels mine: As a result of
this thread, I finally got around to putting all (well, all that I
can remember - <g>) of the lenses into a spreadsheet.

Of course, one of the neat things about a spreadsheet is how easy it
can be used to come up with all sorts of quantitative data (most of
it MEANINGLESS, of course. For example, taking the averages of all
my primes (from 15mm to 1000mm, and counting multiple copies of
certain lenses multiple times), I have determined that my "average"
prime lens is a 137/3.1 lens - <g>. (I avoided the "fancy" math I'd
have to employ if I wanted to "average" the zooms.)

I guess I'm just a 137/3.1 sort of guy... ;-)
