I got distracted from my todo list by the same mushrooms in my yard that have been distracting me for the past week or two:

Since I'm running late, I didn't pull out the macro tripod, I just shot handheld. I tried both ISO 100 and 400 since experience has taught me that the K20 does "just fine" on ISO 400.

But, when I was looking at the pictures in lightroom, I kept noticing that some of them had a harsh, unpleasant, look to them. I then noticed that those were the ones that I shot at ISO 400.

Has anyone noticed that in some situations on the K20 ISO 400 is just fine, and in others there's a big difference between it and ISO 100? Do you have a rule of thumb of what those situations are?
