I get distracted by mushrooms, too, man. They're maaa-gic. 8-)

Since I'm running late, I didn't pull out the macro tripod, I just
shot handheld. I tried both ISO 100 and 400 since experience has
taught me that the K20 does "just fine" on ISO 400.
But, when I was looking at the pictures in lightroom, I kept noticing
that some of them had a harsh, unpleasant, look to them. I then
noticed that those were the ones that I shot at ISO 400.
Has anyone noticed that in some situations on the K20 ISO 400 is just
fine, and in others there's a big difference between it and ISO 100?
Do you have a rule of thumb of what those situations are?
