I just know every time I tell someone I am from IL they say something
to the tune of oh so what is it like to live in a big city like
chicago. jg

Well, I finally started my "PDML where are they at" list to help me with that, and I had you in Missouri - St. Louis.

I guess you're across the river then. I'll have to correct that.

I'm gonna' have to admit I'm just horrible with remembering names. I am really trying to get it all straightened out.

The guy I thought was in Texas is in Kentucky; the guy I thought was in Kentucky is in Ontario ... or is it Quebec?

I'm pretty clear who's on the left coast [Godfrey, Marne and the guy who had the neat night photos from the desert] and somewhat clear who's on the east [me, Mark, Ann San] ... except for the guy who's actually in Texas.

There IS someone in Texas isn't there?

I know where Knarf is. I know which side of the pond to find Cotty & Eke. I vaguely have the Oz contingent marked out. I know they're all the way around down under there somewhere, even if I can't recall any of the names at the moment.

I know the difference between the Norwegian [tundra, heavy metal rock bands and all the Antarctica photos everyone loves to hate] and the Belgian [those wonderful night-time industrial shots that would have homeland security on me in a heartbeat if I tried taking them].

The guy from Brazil is off line this month vacationing in Florida.

Subash seems to be in India for now, but maybe he's in Indonesia or Maylasia. I know he's been training up for a trek into the Himalayas.

And the guy whose photo is on the cover of the PDML annual is in the Philippines ... was in the Philippines ... I think ... although I remember his last few posts were about work he got published in some Toronto magazine ... unless it was Vancouver.

It'd be a whole lot easier on me if you guys would just wear name tags. I loved being in the Army. All I had to do to know who I was talking to was look above the right breast pocket.

At least I know where my house is. I'll eventually get the rest sorted out. Bear with me.
