I'm not questioning Bill's skill as a photographer or as a
post-processor. Both are beyond reproach.
This is simply a genre that I personally don't like - it doesn't speak
to me (to put it in cliche'ed terms).
A subject can be pleased and flattered without making them look
artificial, IMHO.
Most art is artificial. It's a representation. The world would be a
pretty drab place without it.
