Quite frankly, you're being absurd.
My point was that the natural lives of all of these items are
truncated at some point for consumption by some life form, especially
us! We do not wait for the apple to fall from the tree to eat it. The
apples "job" is to fall on it's own, rot and enrich the soil where it
fell so it's seeds can produce a replacement tree for the one from
which it came.
Eve started this nature interuptus long ago, didn't she? Or was that
Adam. Or was it the snake?
