It isn't. It has a thalamus to entice animals to eat it so that they
distribute the seeds when they crap.


In the United States, more than 60% of all the apples sold commercially are grown in Washington state. So don't go using cerebral lingo with me when it comes to apples. We are both full of it (cerebral lingo).

I spent 30 minutes reading up on the reproductive life of Apple Trees and where the apple comes in on that system. It is so complex that I could not pluck a single repartee from the reading of it to posit as a rejoinder. But I did get turned on. 'Nuff said!
