I don't think the card is a problem (it seems to be writing reasonably fast otherwise), - and I tried with my old 2 GB Extreme III, - the delay is about the same (on another hand, that one is a slower card). I will check my card later again - just in case. (I bought 3 of them from Buydig - so I wouldn't expect fakes from a reputable reseller, - but maybe that's a wrong assumption.)
