A couple weeks ago I was shopping for a particular brand of condoms and found them for what seemed to be a very good price for the 12 pack, as that is what the picture was. I didn't notice the text saying that all they had was the 3 pack. When the package arrived, with the 3-packs, I was a bit ticked, checked the website, figured out my error and wrote them a nastygram. They told me that the only picture the manufacturer provided was that of the 12-pack.

My response was to take some pictures of the box that they had sent, and send them copies with a note saying "maybe this will help". In reply they sent:
"Wow, you're good - I'll pass those along to my web guy - thanks!"

I didn't get any actual pay, but you can see my photos at:

It turns out that it was a surprisingly difficult product shoot because the box was glossy enough to reflect the white floor of my light tent, and I don't have any black construction paper lying around (I ended up using a grey card). Also, some of the shots showed reflections of my fingers as I pressed the shutter.

Not a very artistic shot, but I learned a bit from it and it's nice to see it being used in a professional context, even if I didn't actually get any money from it.
