Granted. I think the issue isn't the absolute performance, it's that
it really isn't much of a step up from the K20,
After 10K frames with the K7D and about 30K with the K20, I'd say the
difference between the two is night and day. Far better exposure
accuracy. Really no contest in that regard. Better autofocus.
Outstanding build quality, and a much better menu system. High ISO
performance is fine for everything I do, and it's certainly better
than the K20, probably due to the exposu4re accuracy.

and that the K-x is a
step from it. So for a lot of us who are sitting in K10/20-land, it's
sensible to sit tight and let Pentax have another go at it before we
upgrade.
