Lol, thanks Larry. They are pretty much all out of focus due to the fact that I was handholding, mostly at f2.5-2.8 (so, basically wide open - VERY little depth of field), and using slow shutter speeds = VERY hard to get a constantly moving baby in focus. HOWEVER, this is also the preferred style that the magazine I was shooting for requires. They don't care about focus. They like light, bright candid shots of babies with cute expressions and interesting angles. That is the current trend and fashion, and I agree with them that it makes for much more interesting shots than conventional styles. Although, it would have been nice to have at least ONE shot that had perfectly sharp eyes gazing down the lens. ;-)

When I came back the slide show had skipped on to, I assume, Hud. It looks as if the camera had an easier time finding focus on the stripes on the shirt than on the kid's eyes. They almost all seem to be just slightly out of focus, though the eyes on the duck hat seem to be razor sharp. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4848 (20100208) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
