sRGB *is* a flavor of RGB. To be specific, it's an RGB gamut defined
exactly within specified limits. It was designed for CRT viewing
originally, but is still very good for the vast majority of monitors
in use. It is also, coincidentally, very good for printing on
traditional (photosensitive) paper.

Is there any advantage to using sRGB over RGB or vice versa for printing, either at home or at a Costco type process?


When you're sending files to Fuji or Noritsu color printer (minilab),
sRGB is the best color space to sue for your images even though, last
I knew, none of these machines are color space aware.
