Hi Tan, As others have already commented, the noise is pretty much to be expected, remember too that you are looking into a more detailed file when pixel peeping, so it will look a little noisier but for the same print size or downsized web image the noise will actually likely be better. What are you using as an FTP client by the way, you shouldn't need to fight so hard, I'm now pretty much exclusively using FireFTP which is an FTP plug in for Mozilla Firefox. It's very robust in that it can be forced (in preferences) to accept network timeouts (network pregnant pauses) of up to five mins and it can be forced to retry many times etc. Quite good, very fast and free. http://fireftp.mozdev.org/ Cheers, -- Rob Studdert (Digital Image Studio) Tel: +61-418-166-870 UTC +10 Hours Gmail, eBay, Skype, Twitter, Facebook, Picasa: distudio -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
