I don't know whether it's just me but all I see in Gallery 1 are the
thumbnails with a large clear space above them - clicking on the
thumbnails doesn't do anything.  I can, however, see gallery 2 OK.

That's a good set of images.  You captured the fun of the event well. 
That old guy with the beard and colourful shirt was obviously having a
ball.

(I'm going to bite my tongue over the guy with the ram's head.... no
sheep jokes here.)
