I tried it, but decided that despite the improvements it offered,
it was not worth keeping it for me, and K-7 was still better suited
for my needs.

For most events, I am not a "dedicated" photographer (and I prefer
it that way, - so that I can enjoy dancing myself).
Besides, - I don't feel like bringing a lot of stationary equipment,
and I prefer the freedom of movement.

Additionally, while this solution might be helpful for blues events,
when it comes to tango, - the interesting photo opportunities open 
during performances. So, a "better-lit corner" wouldn't be a good 
solution.
