The US doesn't have a parlementary system, unlike, in theory at least, most of Europe. The the US the bureaucrats are the government, the Administration gives direction, but we still have the same government we had under the previous Administration. Which is why at bottom if your honestly compare the response of DOH's to any act, the actual terrorism is downplayed, while the threat is accentuated, same as it was before. The only difference is that this bunch prefers to see the threat from different quarters, (right wing fanatics, vs. Al Qaeda operatives), but it's the same song when an actual attack occurs. Same band different conductor.
