I have all my gear insured anywhere in Australia and New Zealand (I believe) for any loss whatsoever. This includes leaving an MZ-5n with F series 50mm macro under a tree about a year ago, completely forgetting about it until the next day. Suffice to say ity wasn't there when I returned to look for it. I was sure that the insurance company would say that they cover everything except stupidity, but they bought me a shiny new MZ-3 with Sigma 105mm macro. I still miss the 50mm macro, I probably should have taken the 50mm over the 105, but that's a different story.
