I realize I'm just an old fart with old fashioned ideas, but I'll
never get use to urban graffiti. We have it where I live, here in
Utah. I saw it when I was in Hawaii right next to stunning beaches.
While some will call it a form of urban art or personal expression, I
consider it simply as defacing vandalism. I also consider those who
litter streets and allies with broken glass to be vandals. I ride a
bike and I don't like getting flats from their 'cheap thrill seeking.'
I know these things will never go away, but I sure don't have to like
them or accept any of it as respectable behavior.
Leave it in place a couple thousand years and it turns into a cultural icon.
