So you did not avail yourself of the registration page on the SanDisk website? I've been assured should ever one of my dozen registered cards fail it would be replaced. Of course, none ever have failed, so I cannot attest to the veracity of their statement. Rest assured, if I had not registered them (such tiny little serial numbers) they probably would have been failing left and right, putting me in the same leaky boat in which you find yourself.

It's the unwritten law of bad karma.
