The K10D doesn't have 22-bit data paths, so a chip that can do (some) 22-bit arithmetic isn't particularly useful. And, in any case, that was mostly marketing speak from the chip supplier; I'm sure the processor in the 645D is every bit as good as that in any of the K-mount bodies. There looks to be quite a bit of commonality with the K-7; metering, rear LCD. The AF looks to have been tweaked, but I doubt if it's a major advance (although one can still hope ...). I'm sure that the same system will be the basis for any K-7 successor. I also note the dual memory card slots, so maybe there's a chance that feature could show up on a K-mount body. Not that I'll be buying one, mind you. But a future K-mount?
