Congratulations now you can buy a new K-7.
Hah, not likely. Last year my work hours were cut from five days to
four days a week (8hr/day) for most of the year. This year, starting a
couple months ago, my hours were cut back again, only this time to THREE
days a week. I was fortunate to find some temp work this month for the
two days I have off each week, but what I really want and need is a
totally new job. Problem is, no one is hiring around here (SF East
Bay), I'm stuck with a mortgage in a condo that I can't sell or rent,
and I don't own a car anymore (couldn't afford repairs last year, had to
donate it), so I am pretty much completely stuck.
John, what is it that you do for money?
My current primary job is a graphic designer at a sign shop, but my temp
work is data entry at a nonprofit. I've got an interview for a county clerk
job Thursday, but there are a ton of people applying for that job, so I'm
not holding my breath. I'd take a job stocking shelves at a supermarket if
it paid enough to keep up with my mortgage and such.
John
