I just got into B&W photography... well, I just got into photography recently. I've been shooting Tri-X and developing with Tri-X developer... which seems pretty easy to do. The results were pretty good considering I haven't developed film since highschool (10 years). I'm hoping that since I can't fit an enlarger into my tiny bathroom in my apartment.... I might just buy a decent scanner and print them the pics on my HP 932c printer (don't know what the results will be though). That way, I can have my own little digital darkroom and process the film in my bathroom with no worries.
The only things I noticed is that it was tricky loading my stainless steel developing reel in the dark. But, I've been practicing loading it with some test film while I watch T.V. or something... so that I'm not looking at what I'm doing and until it just becomes second nature to me. But, maybe you've been shooting for a while and already know a lot of this... I just want to say everyone here in this group has been pretty helpful when I asked about how to develop my first roll of film. Thanks people!
