Manual focus with the big, bright EVF of the G1/GH1 and E-P2 models is
even easier.

I've used a nice brace of alternative lenses on the G1, from Nikkor
20mm to Nikkor 180mm with telextender. What works most successfully
for me when it comes to adapted lenses are lenses in the 35 to 105 mm
range. Short focal lengths, up to 25mm, I find the FourThirds and
Micro-FourThirds lenses work best. My present G1 working kit includes
a Cosmicar 12.5mm f/1.4 TV lens, a Konica 40mm f/1.8, an Olympus Pen F
70mm f/2 and a Pentax SMC Takumar 135mm f/3.5.

A brief gallery of the G1 with a hodgepodge of various lenses is
available here:

The adaptability and versatility of these bodies is delightful to
those of us who appreciate the wide range of excellent lenses that can
be used, but in fact the vast vast majority of users never need or
want to work with anything but Micro-FourThirds lenses. Between
Panasonic and Olympus, there are now lenses either shipping or
announced for shipping soon from ultra-wideangle to hefty telephotos,
all of which are darn good quality.

It's nice to see these Pentax 110 lenses being used and performing
well regardless! :-)
