A difficult task, to be sure. I'm not sure how to show the level of context needed with such a small subject. Your comments help tremendously. The 3rd one gives me the most feeling of demise. Beyond what you have done, all I can think of is a fisheye lens with the bird taking up most of the frame with the human structures behind it.
