I'm still on CS2 and tried a 30-day trial of lightroom for 1-day several months back. I guess I don't know what I'm missing. I do have it in my plans to upgrade soon, on general priniciples.
It sounds to me like Adobe has gone the Microsoft route, essentially... meaning that getting there wares to market and keeping stock values up supercedes the quality of the product. Both the foolish consumer and the 10+ year loyal customer pay the price. Installation problems is one thing, though to me that would be the first sign that something was amiss. Crashing regularly could be the software itself or the OS and and other issues. For now CS2 works. What is there in the latest & greatest that i should be paying attention to? Thanks. Tom C.
