Some time ago I resynched and double checked my shutter and image count following the method outlined here and there were no issues with that. Couple days ago I picked up another 8 GB card and had to switch cards in the middle of shooting so guess what: shot on card A to number X, switched to new card B, continued from X+1 to X+40, had to go back to card A, also continued from X+1 there until full, went back over to card B, continued from X+41 so I now have 40 duplicate numbers plus I have to resynch the bloody thing... Hence, two questions: a) is there a tool that will 1. move images from card to hdd and 2. rename them as it goes along and 3. divide jpeg and dng into separate folder trees? b) are K20D K-x and K-7 just as dumb in that respect? Those programmers deserve to have their phone number changed to the called party's number plus 1 every time they dials out!!! TIA Ecke
