Which photos do you print your photos on matte or glossy paper?
For example, would you print up to 16x20 on glossy to preserve detail,
and bigger than that on matte to help obscure pixelation?
I've just discovered Hahnemuhle Photo Rag.
It's very matte.
It looks realy nice.
I've always preferred non glossy or low lustre papers. My favourite paper
surface is the old Kodak G surface. If you've ever seen an Ektalure print,
you know what it looks like.
When I was making fine art B&W prints, I was printing on air dried fibre
based glossy paper. This gave the paper a bit of a sheen without being
overly glossy.
For B&W I found that to be the best.
