Is this where I should officialy delurk even though I've already posted questions and answers? :) Hi, I'm Gary. I started taking pictures about 15 years ago with an old Ricoh rangefinder. During highschool, I really got to love photography, and took photo class on my uncle's old Minolta. Two or three years back, I decided to buy a camera. I went with Pentax because I got a great deal, and I remembered that everyone loved the K1000. In the last year or so I've really started to enjoy the hobby, and amass lots of stuff I don't really need, but need to fufill my technofetishism. :) That said, back to the question.. > That lump is a focusing motor, not a battery pack. This is the autofocus There's space in it for batteries, too, though. So, I figured it was just a battery pack. > 35-70/2.8 which was specifically designed for the ME-F. Guess it doesn't completely replace the 35-80 f4-5.6 lens, then. :) -- http://www.infotainment.org "The destructive character is cheerful." - Walter Benjamin - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
