> But I have two other great lenses that I love almost just as much: > My Tokina 80-200mm f2.8 ATX (manual focus)
> My Tokina 100-300mm F4 (fixed) ATX (manual focus) Good choices. The 80-200/2.8 is surprisingly good for a fast zoom, while the 100-300/4 might be my number one favorite in the long zoom category (unlike the AT-X 150-500/5.6, which is as well made as these other Tokina zooms, but which is a bit soft above 250mm or 300mm). There is one other Tokina AT-X zoom that I ~really~ like (especially for casual portraits) - the 60-120/2.8. All in all, I would say that Tokina has put out some good zooms (as zooms go) in its AT-X line. > A fellow Pentaxian, > Ryan Charron A fellow Pentaxer, Fred ;-) - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
