Agreed.  Even though I have one already, if I stumbled into another,
I'd pick it up in a heartbeat - <g>.  Interestingly, I have copies
of two reviews of this lens.  One of them is from the UK's Amateur
Photographer of May 11, 1985 (while the other review is from the
US's Modern Photography of July, 1985), so I guess, judging by the
existence of a UK review, that it ~was~ imported into the UK and
marketed there.  There are not many of these lenses around on this
side of the pond, either, so maybe Tokina just simply never sold too
many of them (?).
