I believe OpenSource DTP software would create more problems than it solved. :-(

You definitely don't want to go there if you're running a business and have to hire people trained on PhotoShop and InDesign. Both of which work just fine at every ad agency I've been associated with. All are Mac-based on the production side and fully staffed with diligent IT people, but problems are rare.
