Never ran Catalyst, probably because nothing I read about it explained well enough what the heck it was.

And the //gs came out 3 years after the Macintosh debuted. It was for those (like me!) that had a hard time letting go of their Apples, even though they had a Mac. After all, the //gs was COLOR, the Mac, B&W.
