Try that at the track sometime. Doug and I both photograph race cars, and the officials take a dim view of anyone who doesn't stay behind the designated barriers. Not to mention that putting yourself in front of thousands of pounds of projectiles that are moving of speeds up to two hundred miles an hour isn't overly smart.
