I can and likely will talk to my local camera club bosses. I intend to
show them the book and indicate that an exhibition can be arranged with
these pictures or the pictures of the next year. However, I can tell you
from the start, that by definition my local camera club is a non-profit
organization. They a legally disallowed to come up with exhibition with
price tags attached to pictures.
If you think it is not worth our while, please let me know. Otherwise, I
would want to proceed with what I outlined above.
Well, I can't speak for the list, but my educated guess is that folks would
want the opportunity to sell their photograph. Speaking for myself, I would
like to be in a gallery space that can sell photographs. I realize that
just because a gallery can sell doesn't mean photographs are guaranteed to
sell, but having the opportunity is nice.
The list might need a gallery committee :-). Ted has just posted that he's
talking to gallery folks, and Stan said he will be in a month or so.
Hmmmmm. Does anybody want to share the views about future exhibits &
venues? Do we have any kind of consensus on any aspect of this topic?
