I recently obtained this converter, and I have a question about it. AF only works when the lens is bright enough, so it doesn't work on my SMC-A 400mm/f5.6 (becomes f9.5). If I want to make a picture of the moon using this lens and converter, I set my lens to infinity. Now, how do I know that the converter is at this setting as well? If it was used with my SMC-M 50mm/f1.7, the last focus position of the converter could have been something closer by then infinity. Does it move back to infinity when I switch off my PZ-1? Or do I need to AF focus on something at infinity before switching the camera off to reset the converter?
